The Kozienicka Forest is home to a wide and colorful variety of bird species. There is even a dedicated monograph about them, and the avifauna changes with the seasons. In spring, just outside our windows, you can hear the calls of cranes that have made the area around Jagodny Staw their home. The Kozienicka Sanctuary is one of the largest breeding grounds for the black stork in Poland.
